  1. QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 21, 2006 -> 01:13 AM) I'd rather catch Santana now, since he's been struggling, than after he finds his groove. Which he undoubtedly will. No joke. I hope he struggles for one more game. Thome is due!! Nice avatar by the way, I have that poster on my wall. Thats a pretty nice thing for the Cubune to do.
  2. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Apr 20, 2006 -> 06:56 PM) Its wrapping up right now. ANy reports appreciated Whoops, I totally missed this and started my own thread. I was in the commoner, peasant line, and arived shortly before 5. I had a bunch of great White Sox fans around me who had me turning off my ipod and carrying on in discussion with them instead. The VIP line for buying Perry Ellis schwag was nonsense, but sense they sponsered the event, no one could do anything. Bobby was late (as al athletes are). We had a good time ripping on the yuppies in the "VIP line" as almost 95% of the people wearing SOX gear were in the normal lines. I mean, if i wanted to pay $50 for an autograph, I would get one off of Ebay and wouldnt screw around in any form of a line. A bastard that had a Cubs cellphone cover and a son in a Yankee jersery expiditeded around me in the VIP line like he was some diehard talking about what Ozzie said about this and that. But any way, I got my autographed 8x10 for my personal collection and was out by 730. I was one of the first 100 in line and also got a perry ellis gift bag with some schwag, the best being a nice sized bottle of cologne. To my delight, I did see some cheating ass dealer getting reported to the management for going back into the VIP line. As I left, it seemed like everyone who came was going to get a chance to meet Bobby. I just want to say thanks to the folks around me for keeping me sane. I was wearing the grey sox shirt and red athletic shorts. You all made it fun for me. I forgot to mention that Bobby was very cool and seems like a great person. Waiting to meet him is a treat unlike a certain northside pitcher who got sued!!
