I tend to agree, but I would give up just about anything for another World Series. We have a team built to win and there is no reason to hold back, if you can get a grade A player.
We just seem to struggle against the soft tossers. Haeger would kill us.
On BA, he does have great potential, esp. on D, but I still think a move down may get the guy going at the plate, like it did for Rowand a couple of years back.
What always drives me more crazy is that every time we have a hard time against an opposing pitcher, Hawk and especially DJ, describe the guy as if he is the second coming of Nolan Ryan.
You think in September, we will regret that we once rooted for NY to beat Detroit? Hopefully, we won't be worrying about the Wild Card though.
Is Cliff nothing more than a pitcher for blow out games now?
You can't just assume BA would have had that. Easy to say when he isn't out there, but I admit he sure as hell would have gotten closer to it than Rob M. I am not sold on either of them. Kenny, we need you to work your magic.
Here we go again with Cliff and so much for that good outing of Freddy.
Sox struggle with the soft tossers. Also, why does it always seem that if we score a bunch of runs in one game (i.e., Monday night), we can't score runs after that? Not so much this year, I guess, but Let's Score some Damn Runs!
Wow, what a waste. Things usually don't turn out well when we leave guys on base like this. I didn't realize Paulie was slumping so much in May as far as avg.
