  1. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Jul 25, 2016 -> 09:56 AM) You mean the thing I called "scummy"? I'm seriously starting to believe you're not even reading my posts. Being ACCURATE about something isn't the same as supporting it. Again, you're calling a slap a murder and accusing me of bias when I disagree even though you're objectively wrong and can't support your claim. Don't worry, ss2k5 never actually responds on the merits when pressed. Always reverts to the exact same play book.
  2. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Jul 25, 2016 -> 09:46 AM) That was called the Taco Bowl Engagement (Not racist?) and the bullet points about hispanics certainly seem to be stereotyping That Email is dated after trumps taco bowl tweet, I'm sure it was making fun of that. His tweet wasn't racist, just ridiculous.
  3. Dws was bad at her job and I'm glad she's gone. I supported Bernie but basically ignored the dem primary because both Clinton and Sanders supporters have been insufferable. I'm not shocked Dws did something else that was kinda bad at her job, but at the same time if you're running as an anti establishment candidate you need to be a moron to not expect resistance from said establishment. DNC incompetence is a long running story, see my screen cap above
  4. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 25, 2016 -> 10:02 AM) Trying to bring Russian government ties to Trump into the DNC leaks is embarassing at this point. It was a last ditch effort to try and save face with no evidence of anything and even if there was, it doesn't change what was in those emails. Last ditch effort with no evidence sounds like an accurate summary of how overhyped these emails are? I thought the evidence of it coming from two different Russian state hacker groups was pretty well established. Plus manaforts Russian connections are in the open, and trumps platform shifts that just "happen" to be pro Russian aren't really explained. Eta wikileaks has a show with rt ffs, it's not exactly a stretch to find the Russian ties. Wikileaks hasn't done anything useful ever.
  5. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 25, 2016 -> 09:08 AM) Of course that is how you see it. Dems always fall in line. This is no different. Glad to see you going back to the well of that same terrible argument you tried making just last week so quickly.
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 24, 2016 -> 06:29 PM) The ones where you justified everything that was said and done? Yeah, mostly I rolled my eyes at your making excuses for the DNC and moved on. This is a pretty weak flail
  7. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 24, 2016 -> 08:55 PM) Deadline reported she is back with CNN or never left, one of the two. I wouldn't trust cnn on this story, given their close ties to the situation. But you trust wikileaks lol
  8. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 03:51 PM) No, she couldn't and no, they wouldn't. These people have never actually paid attention to any of the actual media coverage the Clinton's have received for decades. "Clinton rules" didn't come out of nowhere
  9. regular reminder that the LP platform is somehow crazier than Trump
  10. Trump had to cancel his post convention rally because the planning team was redirected to responding to the plagiarism stuff. https://mobile.twitter.com/HotlineJosh/stat...472534552416256
  11. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 22, 2016 -> 01:06 AM) A speech that will go down in history. The energy in that building was insane. You know who else gave highly energetic speeches that went down in history.... Seriously though it wasn't some sort of historic speech.
  12. QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 22, 2016 -> 07:25 PM) Boring. Guess they thought double woman ticket was too much? She's more powerful and influential in the Senate, especially if they retake it. Biden should be VP for life though. Going to miss him clowning all over Ryan.
  13. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Jul 22, 2016 -> 09:32 AM) Agreed, though it sounded like he was just trying to get the letters out without mumbling. The 2 or 3 times he said it were the same. L-G-B-TEEE-Q Also, one thing I will give him credit for, the dude spoke (yelled) for 1.5 hours and never took a drink! That was amazing. I'd be dying after 15 minutes. It was the final insult to Rubio
  14. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Jul 22, 2016 -> 09:29 AM) Jesus Christ you guys are sad. Hey man it's not the first time he's been super creepy and sexual about her. Those quotes are all several years apart, and that's a f***ed up way to talk about your own daughter. Still is more in line with lostfans "raise an eyebrow and make fun of it" than anything
  15. Also man is Trump weird with Ivanka https://mobile.twitter.com/Rschooley/status...349787604185088
  16. QUOTE (Ezio Auditore @ Jul 22, 2016 -> 09:09 AM) Was Laura Ingraham giving an actual Nazi salute at the RNC in a prime-time speech? No, almost certainly not. But I'll be goddamned if I'm not gonna give that bizarrely crisp snap of her arm the side eye and then make fun of it. Yup
  17. I wonder what all of the Republicans who have been strongly pro trade deals like nafta for decades think about trump attacking all of these year deals.
  18. QUOTE (JUSTgottaBELIEVE @ Jul 21, 2016 -> 08:39 PM) How do arrive at that interpretation from these words? And I quote "half of teachers are virtually illiterate." http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/virtually http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/illiterate It's hyperbole but it's still an example of rauner being garbage.
  19. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Jul 21, 2016 -> 05:10 PM) Spitballing still defines his positions but my argument is that one statement in this interview does not set up the WWIII commie take-over that is apparently feared by some people around here and at The Atlantic. If bmags and that author can read way more into his answer than what was written, why can't I do the same thing in reverse and put those statements into a fair context? No matter what bmags claims, he's never, to my knowledge, advocated getting rid of NATO or not coming to the aid of a member or anything along those lines. He simply said in this interview that he would make sure that the other country in need of help is doing their part, e.g., paying their 2%. I ask again, what the hell is wrong with that? Why does the US (and the other members of NATO meeting their responsibilities) need to continue doing all the work if the other countries don't? Why is that our obligation? Perhaps it is under the existing treaty, but we can't even discuss possibly changing that agreement? That's sacrilegious? Why? If he had his way, trump will be president in less than six months. No more of his profoundly and proudly ignorant statements. But why is it the obligation of the overwhelmingly strongest military in the world with crucial strategic positions at stake? I think that question sort of answers itself, and it's 'sacrilegious' if you have any understanding of what the us interests re NATO are.
  20. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jul 20, 2016 -> 09:28 PM) What was said?? Illegal immigrants are killing is all!
  21. And there's the open fascism we all know and love
