Rowand started the season in Chicago, where he hit .133 in 60 at bats for the White Sox. To replace Rowand on the roster, outfielder Joe Borchard was sent to Charlotte. Borchard hit .184 with 1 HR and 5 RBI in 49 at bats with the White Sox after being called up from Charlotte on May 23rd. While with the Knights, Borchard hit .224 with 3 HR and 20 RBI. The Knights have also announced that infielder/outfielder Willie Harris will be joining the team on a major league rehab assignment. The left-handed hitter led the International League in average and ranked among the league leaders in on-base percentage (2nd, .483), runs scored (T2nd, 20), hits (3rd), slugging percentage (4th, .691), home runs (T4th) and extra-base hits (T5th, 11) at the time of his promotion. that was on the knights website.
