kudos to @chitownsportsfan for the second post. I am attending this year again, March 1-3, will be at Sox @ Angels, Padres @ Sox and probably Rangers @ Rockies at Talking Stick.
Staying in Scottsdale, going to hike one of the days. See you there.

Do they offer you a match?

Some will tell you to contribute what they match, but depending on your income, it may be best to max it out entirely.
Thank you both, they match 100% up to 5.5%

All the financial gurus on here, my employer offers a Roth 401K and I was wondering if that's something I should be looking into instead of traditional. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Steve Stone replying to someone I know on twitter said Brock Holt is a very interesting name when asked about Sox and he.

If you look at the feed from other beat writers nobody else mentioned Jake Burger. The term June-ish was used by Hahn when talking about Dane Dunning.
It's crazy how one tweet just took off.

Well, they're giving Trubisky every resource they can to make this work.
That is what I think as well but other on social media think this is not triplling down on Mitch but rather expect a QB addition (Foles?).

Bears are hiring John DeFillipo as a QB coach. Ragone will be passing game coordinator.

Well, they wont just hand us the division, gotta beat em.

I think he has a spot on this team as the 26th man, 3rd catcher, lefty power bat.

Another NFL exec told David Kaplan the Bears are probably in the Super Bowl if Stafford is their QB.
I was actually thinking the same, Adam Jahns (who's work along Hoge I admire lots) keeps on dogging Stafford but his performance this year would have Bears on top of this league imho. Of course now he's injured so point is moot.

Apparently Lauri has been battling a sore oblique for 2 weeks. This was mentioned for the first time yesterday.

Collins now 3/3 with a HR. Prior to tonight’s game, here are his stats since his demotion:
- 15.1% BB rate, 19.4% K rate, .227 ISO, .320/.430/.547/.977, .375 BABIP, 149 wRC+
Obviously that BABIP is running a bit high, but otherwise his numbers have really taken a turn for the best.
Don't tell Keith Law.

Robert HR shy of the cycle, after his 2B scores Nick M.

I'm not sure why people keep discussing signing Grandal. The catching tandem next year will be McCann and Collins. The Sox will give Collins every chance to stick at catcher .
I'll bite, Collins could be your Evan Gattis type 3rd catcher, 1B/DH with Grandal and McCann manning the C position. Isn't it what the Sox are grooming Zach for?

Wasn't there a thing some time ago where some fans tried to organize themselves like they do at soccer games at one of the sections of the Cell?

Remember when Eloy didn't come up because he needed defensive improvement? What would you say is his biggest weakness?
His defense no question.

Madrigal 1-3 (single)
Robert 0-3 (under .300 now)
Here we go, dare I say both making Hahn look kind of smart?

That money is sunk cost at this point. No reason to waste ABs on these schmucks. If they want to keep Castillo around as a 3rd C that is fine but bring Collins back up and give him ABs at 1B, DH and C. Collins' swing change is intriguing. If he continues to hit, I might not completely hate him anymore.
When did Collins change his swing?

Was Nate Jones the longest tenured player on the Sox? Abreu?

I’ve officially gone to the dark side. Been supportive of this team for 30 years, consider myself a diehard, and will forever be one. But I’m finally pissed off and your list captures it perfectly. Zero depth means we got every ounce of remaining optimism hinging on a handful of players.
Any other teams in mlb with 2 sub-200 avg players, a powerless cleanup hitter, and a pitcher with a 7 era playing in front of a great home crowd today?
What a damn shame.
Welcome aboard !
I will say this, if you lasted that long why not hold off for another couple months. I want to see the OD roster in April and that will tell me everything there is to know about this FO.
