QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Mar 10, 2011 -> 06:19 PM)They don't. Neither does Illinois unless they make the championship game.
May I ask what powerhouse teams you have in ahead of them? Illinois is in even if they lose to Michigan tomorrow.

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Mar 5, 2011 -> 05:45 PM)I cant believe Purdue lost. Congrats Rock.
So does MSU get in at this point, Im still struggling over the fact that they were swept by UMich.
Unless there are some upsets in the conference tourneys, I don't see anyone jumping ahead of them. The field is really weak this year but it should make for an interesting tournament because there aren't any great teams.

And SIU blows it. Down 2 with 1 second left.
-
And Missouri State ties it up with a ridiculous 3-pointer. Under a minute to go.
-
Damn that's a sad story.
Meanwhile, SIU is up 8 on Missouri State with under 4 minutes to go.
-
I'm looking forward to watching White Sox baseball for the first time since last year.
-
Not a big deal. Thanks for putting this list together.

Illinois played great defense but MSU still missed some open shots that could have made it really interesting down the stretch.
Illinois will have to play a near perfect game to beat the Buckeyes on Saturday. It should be a great atmosphere as long as Ohio State doesn't jump ahead early.

Blue Valentine is now my favorite film from 2010. Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams are incredible. I think it's a movie that you'll either love or hate, because it's pretty intense. Consider yourself warned.
On a lighter note, Easy A was surprisingly funny.

I think 6 of mine make the list.
Also, I did not vote Mumford & Sons #1. That is a mistake. Just wanted to clear that up.
-
Kick Ass and Bad Lieutenant are pretty much the only Nic Cage films I've really liked since Adaptation.
Also, I have to say that The Town is seriously overrated. Gone Baby Gone was better and I didn't really care for that one either.

I am really looking forward to this. Hope the Giants offense can at least make a good series of this.

Not just a guy playing Devil's Advocate, but instead bringing up a legitimate argument against the 2 Wild Card system.
No way in hell can you give a team home-field advantage for an entire series. Horrible idea.

Yeah, the U.S. lost when they got only .5 point in the third session. Good to see them at least put up a fight in the singles matches though.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 29, 2010 -> 08:58 AM)It saddens me to say this, as "Running Wilde" was the show I most looked forward to in the new season, but it might be one of the worst shows ever put together. It is just not funny.
Damn.
"Come on!"
"Stop saying that."
I thought the second episode showed some promise. It's not great but it's certainly not one of the worst shows ever put together.

Parks & Rec was the funniest show on network tv last year. #2 was Modern Family.
Community was hilarious tonight. Loved how they made fun of s*** My Dad Says. I did not really care for the Abed character early on in season 1, but he has really grown on me and was excellent tonight. Also, Gollum/Senor Chang was great. I really love the direction they're taking this show in.
I think I should just stop watching The Office. I can only muster up a few minor laughs anymore.

QUOTE (hi8is @ Jul 31, 2010 -> 02:40 AM)I just hope he doesn't give up Viciedo.
Agreed. The kid's only 21 and he's already raking.

I hope we don't get Dunn. If we do, we better win the f***ing World Series.
-
Wow! That was amazing! Where can I get my Landon Donovan home jersey?

I really like Community but Parks & Rec may be the funniest show on tv right now.

QUOTE (bmags @ May 24, 2010 -> 10:55 PM)on the island though?
Let's not forget that Locke killed Naomi and he was there. I never could forgive him for that.
Overall, I thought the finale was great! I'm seriously considering shelling out almost $200 for the blu-ray collection because I think this show is going to be very rewarding on second and third viewings.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 11, 2010 -> 03:28 PM)Best sporting event in the world as far as I'm concerned.
This.
I'll be cheering for the African nations, along with the United States.

I am glad you are not on the committee. No way in hell Nebraska gets in. And UAB's best win is uh...VCU I guess? The rest of the teams all have a case to be made, but not at the expense of Illinois.
