I hope so. I agree that Sale being in the pen this year is absolutely what's best for the team. He has the poise, the stuff, and Peavy's accelerated recovery makes this less of a problem then it ever was. i don't think that'll be true in the near future, but for now we're all in.

Ii can't wait to get out to Glendale again this year. Hopefully, i'll have more stories to tell. Maybe i can get Brandon Hynick to talk to me again.

I understand the organization's thinking here, but i'd hate to see Sale pigeonholed as a reliever. I'm hoping that putting him in the bullpen for year (and i think he will be for the duration of the year) isn't a permanent thing.

I think it would be hilarious if the Yankees end up running out Colon and Garcia at the 4 and 5 spots. I would watch each and everyone of those games with interest.

I'd almost prefer that KW never try to deal with the Yankees again. The last time he did it didn't end well.

This makes a world of sense and i won't be b****ing if this goes down. I can't deny that i hate watching Freddy pitch it's not recent Bartolo Colon bad, but it's close.

Yes, because if anything can make this discussion more civil it's this kind of talk. When talking about all matters Guillen there’s no need to make anything more divisive. I don't think anyone's saying that they'd have liked what went down at the roast to have escalated, but clearly some kind of divine power needs to sweep in and tell Oney to shut up. Lostfan was just offering that someone's fist would be a plausible solution.

Does everyone whose accusing Jay of willingly sitting out this game understand the actual implications of what they’re suggesting? Does anyone actually believe that Jay Cutler wanted to lose this game? To be put under scrutiny in like this? To throw a kid like Hanie into the fire on this kind of stage? I refuse to believe that Cutler is the kind of man that would come within a game of the Super Bowl, get a minor injury, and blow it out of proportion. I don’t think any competitor, any NFL Quarterback, would pull the kind of s*** that Cutler is being accused of. I think the entire discussion is disturbing on many levels.

There's not a chance in hell that this deal ends up working out for the Angels. There's just no excuse in taking on 86 million dollars over four years for two decent players.
