  1. QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 05:58 PM) Dude pounds the ball into the ground wayyyy too much, for a guy his size. I'm just throwing this out there for discussion, isn't he the worst batter you could have behind "The Big Donkey"? Not that Dunn is going to score on many hits but I also don't see having someone who pounds the ball into the ground as a good hitter behind a behemoth like Dunn. Discuss.
  2. QUOTE (Wanne @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 05:40 PM) MLB Extra Innings is free this week... Well I'll be damned. I just flipped on the Diamondbacks vs Rockies game and there it is, holy smokes. Time to switch back to the Sox game. Thanks! That's nice to know.
  3. QUOTE (beautox @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 05:37 PM) I've got mlb.tv thru a proxy and can only take so much hawk at a time. Gotcha.
  4. QUOTE (beautox @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 05:31 PM) From the royals broadcast it didn't look like he went. regardless i really like what I'm seeing out of Marcus, patience and he isn't afraid to be down in the count. Pardon my ignorance, why/how are you listening to the KC feed? Is that what is channeled through MLB.com?
  5. Umm , that looks like a horrible call on Semien, not even close.
  6. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 05:23 PM) 10 bucks he's hitting below 220 by May 1st Yup, he started hot last year too. But I'll take any hits by him and he's hitting well right now.
  7. Hey, I see sun in Kansas City. Please bring that our way, thank you.
  8. Holy s*** is Aoki fast, he was at 2nd before I even blinked.
  9. QUOTE (shakes @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 04:10 PM) Outfielders absolutely can improve. And he was not getting to that ball in the first from where he was positioned. I agree that they can improve and I am not going to state as fact that he could get to that ball but in general, when you see him make his first move on the ball it appears to be very slow or just plain wrong in many cases. He has a long way to go to be an average fielder. He appears to be a liability in the field to me, IMO. He certainly doesn't come across as a good/great outfielder by any stretch. For the record, I like him and I definitely want him to do well.
  10. QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 03:42 PM) Late break and bad approach. This.
  11. Time for Garcia to make up for his s***ty fielding. Please.
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 03:31 PM) Jeez, what in the world is going on with Avi? He looks like he's running in quicksand. He does look incredibly slow and his first step toward the ball is awful.
  13. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 03:30 PM) I only have gameday right now, how does a flyout to CF not score a run? Must have been very shallow. It was very shallow.
  14. Ugh. Loading the bases with Sox killer, Butler coming up.
