Dontrelle Willis, my 2nd favorite major leaguer not including Sox players, is simply amazing. After pitching a shutout last week he is throwing another one today. He was also 3-3 last week and is 3-3 again. Today he had a single, double, and homer, and 3 RBI. To quote Ozzie, "I love this kid."

Yes, but I think the way KC lost today is pretty terrible for their confidence, even worse than our bullpen crusing, IMO.

I am probably the only one that feels this way, but what the heck... I believe winning in the fashion we did is better than if we won 8-5. I know this sounds dumb, but hear me out... Since we won the way we did isn't it kind of a momentum builder and demoralizing(sp?) for the Royals? They staged a huge comeback and then had their bullpen give the game away. While we lifted the spirits of the team and now they know they are capable of a 9th inning comeback. I realize Koch pithced like s*** and the 9th inning made us all sick, but I think it may be pretty good. I realize I will probably get 100 responses saying, "ARE YOU KIDDING? WE COULD HAVE CRUISED TO AN EASY WIN," or something like that. Just my 2 cents...
