You know Romero will get tattooed in his next outing, that's how it always works when we get shut down. Remember when we got owned by Daniel Cabrera when he was in Baltimore? His start before and after the one against us, he was hit around like a beach ball.

Forget about the years where we crushed Verlander, last year showed that he learned how to use his secondary pitches ahead in counts, IMO he turned into a new pitcher last year Gavin 80+ in 3.2 IP

A great offense still wouldn't be able to do much with Romero tonight, but I know they wouldn't be getting no-hit with 8 strikeouts in 4 innings. This is what's gonna happen to us this year when we face really good pitching. Verlander is going to frustrate the hell out of us this year

This is exactly how Brian Tallet looked against us last year. First pitch curveball over and over and we never figured it out

Romero is gonna keep our hitters off-balance I think, throwing three different pitches (FB, Change, Cutter) and he has a curve too according to the TOR broadcasters
