What’s TLR’s excuse going to be now?

Watch when TA and Engel come back he’s not going to play them either. He’s going to start Nick Williams and Jake Lamb.

I would actually think about signing Cespedes at this point. Anything to get Nick Williams and Jake Lamb off the team.

I don’t understand why TLR keeps switching the lineups up almost every game. He should just play the strongest lineup consistently and once in awhile give some of the starters some rest. You can’t expect Garcia to hit for power. He’s more of a singles, doubles, triples player. Vaughn is still learning how to hit big league pitching. Expecting him to hit for power right off the bat is asking a lot from someone who hasn’t seen a lot of big league pitching. Give him time.

We aren’t manufacturing enough runs right now and that’s what’s taxing the pitching staff and the bullpen. The bottom of the lineup is very weak right now because of the injuries.

It’s a combination of everything but when the team can’t score enough runs it puts pressure on the pitching staff and the bullpen to limit the damage or go the distance. The issue right now is we’re not scoring enough runs. We need Jimenez, TA and Engel back at some point or we need to find some more power down in the minors to bring up.

Saying that this team is not a playoff team is a bit premature and an overreaction at this point in the season. Look at the Yankees, the Rays and the Blue Jays record. They all have the same record as the Sox right now. There are some teams that are just playing out of this world right now and out of character. One of them happens to be KC.

It’s been a very disappointing start to the season for sure but I’m not throwing in the towel yet. It’s still really early.

Yeah your right. Hendriks is in. I think there is something wrong with Gameday because they are showing the highlight with Hendriks giving up the homerun.
