  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 09:54 PM) Mr. April! Then he should be playing for the next 3 weeks.
  2. That swing was enough for me to want him in the line-up right now.
  3. Forgot about Uehara...God Texas has a good bullpen.
  4. Alright boys! Let's get Crain a W...
  5. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 09:43 PM) So we get shutout again. Didn't Sox suffer an inordinate amount of shutouts last season? Ugh. I think we all expected that there were gonna be nights like this...a loss is a loss. Shutout or not.
  6. Good job Nathan Jones.
  7. Alright kid! Double play. Very nice.
  8. QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 09:05 PM) Well, I went into this weekend hoping for a 3-3 record after Cleveland...so its still attainable. We aren't playing some chumps here, mind you...they ARE one of, if not the best hitting teams around. It's not discouraging losing 2 of 3 in Texas, but when you come into Texas you better be packin' more than 6 runs in your holster...plus Gavin's underwhelming performance...frustrating series.
  9. Interested to see how the Sox finish this out. They keep talking about playing hard for 27 outs...easily said when you are involved in close games. hopefully they show some fight and don't just mail this one in. We saw a lot of that over the last few years.
  10. Wow...I really hope this game doesn't get ugly. That will tarnish what has been a very competitive series.
  11. 4 hits for Rangers. 3 home runs...why do the hits that Gavin gives up get hit so damn hard?
  12. QUOTE (sunofgold @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 08:51 PM) Well 103 pitches for Harrison. That has to be it for him. Hope the Rangers bullpen sucks tonite. You would have to think no Ogondo or Nathan.
  13. IF Gavin can get through the sixth without allowing a run our starting pitchers will have all gone 6 innings allowing 3 runs...pretty good against the Rangers.
  14. Gavin playing with fire...went 2-0 to three of four hitters that inning.
  15. See if Gavin can be mentally tough enough to keep us in this game.
  16. Very nice Escobar!
  17. Come on guys. Let's string some hits together here.
  18. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 08:08 PM) What did Beckham do this time? Ran himself into an out at home? Where was McEwing when all this was transpiring? Not a lot Super Joe could do when Becks broke on contact.
  19. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 07:56 PM) You were saying? What I was saying turned out to be incorrect...
  20. No clue why Kinsler didn't run there. The combo of Floyd and AJ is not good.
  21. This is how 1-run innings turn into multiple run innings. Walks freakin' Kinsler. He's obviously gonna be running, then an annoying single from Andrus will score him...4 pitches. Come on Gavin. Better than that.
  22. Yeah that's right Torrealba. You're out.
  23. Well that was jacked.
  24. We thinking Ogando and Nathan are unavailable tonight?
  25. Gavin looking goooood... Good news. Sox are obviously gonna habe to pitch...a lot.
