I got a weird feeling we may sign one of these guys tomorrow... Just my gut feeling.

Hey it is what it is... If Bobs report is true chances are we end up none of the big three. But who knows what's going on behind the scenes as much as I doubt KW would feed Nightengale BS. This very well could be a plant at an attempt to influence ongoing negotiations. The point is all three of these guys are still available. If the market was overall demanding their services and teams were willing to give into the demands, then they would not still be free agents. This has been and will continue to be a pissing match between these guys agents and the interested teams FO. We have no idea what the offers from other teams are or have been. We don't even know of the sox have made an offer to any of them, and if they have what the terms are. For most of the offseason we have been linked to all of these guys, and maybe the agents felt they could use our interest in creating or driving a market. But it would seem we are playing hard ball back or are incredibly stupid to be only considering a 3 year deal, when we all pretty much agree that won't get it done. Let's just relax and see what happens. Hell we've waited this long already. This is probably just a negotiation ploy. I would guess there's some movement on this front in the next week, whether it's with us or other teams.

If it were another reporter I may not believe it but Nightengale always seems to have a pretty good idea of he pulse of the Sox FO. I doubt he'd be used as a plant unfortuantely.

Here's my predictions for these guys: Davis to St. Louis Upton to Baltimore Gordon to Kansas City Cespedes to Chicago I have a feeling one of them sign later this evening or this weekend, and we start seeing the rest sign early mid next week.

Honestly I just want someone to sign so the other dominos start to fall. The past two weeks have been useless for me, all I do is check back on here and Twitter to see what's going on. For the sake of sanity I hope the market starts to move after this holiday weekend. I hope we end up with one of the three but really would just like a conclusion. This board needs it just as bad too I think.

Ya this is going to be awhile. It's a pissing match at this point. And I agree I think this leads to a team jumping in and snatching one of these guys and shaking up the market. LAA or Det is my guess. I just hope we're not the ones left holding the bag. I was so excited about those tweets about Cespy signing I actually thought there was a chance tonight. But these guys are holding out and I don't blame them. We'll see who blinks first.

Man... After last night I really thought this might have wrapped up today, especially because it's a Wednesday. But today has been boring, this really has been a weird market. This really may go another week or so.
