  1. QUOTE (greg775 @ Feb 23, 2014 -> 10:50 PM) My favorite former Sox player who is playing for another team is .... Well, it's not Chris Getz. It is Mark Buehrle. I loved his contributions to the Sox and love his style of pitching. Get the ball and throw it. There are nights he doesn't have it and gets hit, but surprisingly on a lot of those nights, he'd still get by. Who is yours and why? Mark Buehrle without question. Contributed a lot not only on the field but by all reports in clubhouse. Had right attitude at all times while pitching for Sox. Not the greatest of all times but my favorite player in recent times Sox should not have let him go Second player would be AJ Pierzynski. Tough player and haven't had a decent catcher since they let him sign with Texas. Going younger sometimes doesn't work.
