  1. It's actually Delaware North, but Levy has the club level & suites. Regardless, they staff based on what their client, in this case the Sox, are willing to pay on a given night. No, you cut concessions and then people spend more on merch. They're doing it right.
  2. I'm lost, I think Dick Allen agrees with you, yet you're getting all bent out of shape because you're too dense to interpret his words. "Nope, it's the neighborhood" was sarcasm (the reason people don't go is Jerry/team sucks).
  3. This photo reminds me of RF 100 level in Milwaukee. Sat there once, never again, couldn't stand the overhang. It felt like staring into a tunnel.
  4. We all have access to the presentation. The south end of the property will be 'Phase 2', the last thing developed, according to that.
  5. Ugly bridge to nowhere 🤣 Put a ballpark there, it won't be nowhere anymore. Your location isn't even where they'll be building and creeps into the BNSF/Metra rail yard, which to this point there's no indication they're buying.
  6. This is my guess based on everything I've seen. I know there's text that says 'Phase 1 is the ballpark' but that contradicts the renderings. Pure speculation on my part, just piecing things together: #1 - The entertainment district: Bars, restaurants, retail, a riverwalk, and parking Silver line - This would be the primary walking route from Roosevelt to the ballpark: The Riverwalk leading to the bridge. Yellow line - Cars would enter via 18th & Canal, keeping traffic coming from 90/94 west of the river and cutting down on some of the Roosevelt congestion concerns. Rideshare drop off could be down there, too. Red line - Bridge to the Fire stadium (the most speculative/made up thing here. I don't even know if it's possible, I'm no engineer) #2 - Phase 2 must be Ishbia's Northwestern Medical project I've seen mentioned a few times
  7. I wonder if the prognosis on Teel is worse than expected, and they want him to DH everyday and really ease back into catching.
  8. Soldier Field is in an AWFUL location. It can't be overstated how bad the experience is getting in and out of there.
  9. Rich coming from Idaho. Regional deals are dead by 2030.
  10. This is such a dead horse. Not going to explain again why they wouldn't move, but you have nothing to worry about.
  11. But the state isn't building them new stadiums. They're paying for the infrastructure that their responsible for to turn empty, non-tax revenue generating land into tax revenue generating land. Would you rather Arlington Park and The 78 just sit empty with nothing happening on them, not contributing anything? I guess from your position on your couch in Idaho it doesn't matter and this isn't about anything more than sports, but at least try to look at the big picture a bit.
  12. You think it's the Bears job to widen 53? You can't be this stupid.
  13. Retro parks that are built are here to stay, that doesn't mean new ones will be built. Marlins Park is very much not retro, it was supposed to usher in the postmodern era.
