I don't think they ever came out of it. They had a huge first inning against a pitcher who just didn't have it yesterday. After the first, they scored 2 more runs against Cleveland's pen and that's it.

This starting staff is the team's biggest strength right now when many people in spring training thought it would be their biggest weakness. I think it will last. But just goes to show how hard it is to predict these things.

Most of us would have been satisfied with a 2-2 series split with Cleveland given what we saw with the pitching matchups and the Sox history with Clevand. Sox are winning this game, and with TA back tomorrow, I think they have a good chance at winning tomorrow as well. If they take 3 of 4 from Cleveland, that would be HUGE.

I hate and will forever hate calling it Guaranteed Rate Field lol. For those who have gone to games, what has your ballpark experience been like so far? How is it different compared to the normal years? I've heard rumors of people being forced into the upper deck when they paid for lower deck seats, has that been happening? How has the parking been? The social distancing and mask wearing? The enforcement of social distancing and mask wearing? The concessions and bathrooms? Something about new strobe lights and no fireworks I've heard? No promotions? Anything else worth noting?

I am as die hard a fan as anyone. I love the Chicago White Sox. If they rebuild again, bye bye. I'm not going through 3-5 more years of intentional losing. We were promised this rebuild would bring SUSTAINED winning. That was the point of it. Nope, if this rebuild doesn't workout and they have to do another one, I will occupy my time with something else. I cannot believe people actually want this to happen. They must have just hopped on the train or something and started following the team.

I....agree one hundred percent. I'm usually one of the optimistic ones as well. Yesterday's lineup was pathetic and inexcusable. And it needs to stop. Fans are paying a lot more money nowadays to be in those seats...they're going to be more and more empty if shit like that keeps being pulled.
