  1. So according to this report, we should have Moncada and Joe Kelly, and possibly Cueto, on the team sometime during the Cleveland series, if not then maybe the first game against the Yankees, no? Also, if Kuechel shits the bed again tomorrow vs. Boston, something has to be done with that. Whether that's Cueto or Lopez or someone else, can't continue just bombing every 5th game with the same guy. Gotta try something new. I don't care how much he's getting paid...and we definitely don't want him to hit that 160 inning mark to guarantee him another year on the team. Thankfully Velasquez has stepped up as late, so that's taken the sting away a bit.
  2. Thank God this game is back on NBC Chicago. What a trainwreck that Apple broadcast was yesterday. We've got Dealin' Dylan Cease on the mound who is coming off the best start of his career so far. Their Sox are starting Nick Pivetta who is 0-4 with an era over 7. Our bats are heating up, so on paper we take this series today. I'd like to see less men left on base, but I'm glad guys are actually getting on. Lets extend this streak to 5!
  3. Just contextually, it fits the mold with how biased they were. Sox are down to their last strike and instead of anticipatingly awaiting the climax of one of the best closers in baseball getting the last strike of the game, he's talking about where the first baseman is positioned. Thats good to bring up for maybe the 6th or 7th inning. Not the 9th.
  4. Hendricks was down to his last strike and dude was talking about where Jose was positioned at 1B. Come on now
  5. It's a complete half ass broadcast. They aren't in the game at all.
  6. Not only did Jose drop it, but he should have stretched differently too to get that ball
  7. Engels speed and defense is much more valuable at the moment. And Leury heating up!
  8. Engels speed is a game changer
  9. Haha this announcer suuuucksss
  10. Jose should have had that
  11. This apple experiment needs to end
  12. Everyone get out of Robert's way!
  13. Yes. But it looked like a slider
  14. Chris Young is obviously a Red Sox fan
  15. What was that awkward interaction between the announcers
  16. Gonna be one of those games huh
  17. Anderson needs to start hustling more. Extremely aggravating. Lucky he is safe.
  18. Those highlights of the 04 and 05 playoffs were pretty cool. But idk about anyone else this broadcast is not clear for me at all. Fuzzy.
  19. I have MLB.TV, I live in Michigan, and it STILL won't let me watch Chicago baseball games on my phone. It actually lets me watch Detroit games and I "shouldn't" be able to watch those. I've called multiple times and no one has been able to figure it out for me. Now, it's not a huge deal because I got it free through T-Mobile, and I use my mom's YouTube TV account to watch pretty much all of the games on NBCSC, but if I didn't have that option I'd either be A) pissed or B) watching through shitty illegal reddit streams, or C) both. Most likely C. It's just incredibly ridiculous.
  20. I would have preferred to see Pivetta and Kuechel pitch on the same day in hopes of seeing a score of 50-48.
