Watching a team hit agains a sinkerballer is always so frustrating.

Red Sox pitchers have complained about Swihart as a receiver for years. It didn‘t matter who was on the staff, who the coaches were or who the manger was. Everybody said that Swihart sucks as a receiver. That‘s a huge red flag and it‘s not like his bat has played in the majors.

Looking at these numbers and his stuff. Looks like he would be a really good reliever.

IMO the juiced ball encourages players with fringy power to swing for the fences. IIRC the runs scored per game haven‘t changed much since 2016, only the ratio of HRs to runs scored has skyrocketed.
