Hideki Matsui signed with the Yankees for about 7 mill a year. How much you wanna bet that he's gonna be a bust?

I doubt he's a bust. He's put up huge numbers in the Japanese leagues and the play their isn't too shabby.

 

I bet he expected to get even more money. Still, I'm amazed the Yanks do all this stuff.

 

They buy Rondell White, he's a bum. Then they spend all this money on Mondesi, he's a bum. They must have more money typed up in their outfield then the Sox do in their entire team. :eek

just remember jas.. japan ball is a bit different than our ball.... im sure he will be a bust eventually... hell look at itchy roll even he isnt up to his first season numbers anymore...........lol.........

I'd still take Ichiro any day of the week. He's the premier leadoff hitter in baseball and the best defensive right fielder in baseball.

 

Ichiro is flat out fun to watch. He hustles, makes contact. I love watching that guy play.
