InTheDriversSeat
I heard about this story on the national news on the radio today. The bat which sold for over a half million dollars (named "Black Betsy"), is one of two that are known to survive from Shoeless Joe's career. Manufacturer labeling on the bat was used from 1917-1921. Shoeless Joe Jackson was a member of the White Sox from 1915-1920. http://www.christies.com/lotfinder/memorab...21447&lid=1 http://www.greenvilleonline.com/story/spor...again/92417350/ .
