For anyone who may be interested, the Knights have a 3 game series next month at Victory Field in Indianapolis, opposing the Indianapolis Indians (Pittsburgh Pirates AAA affiliate).

 

Indianapolis is the closest location to the Chicago area, where any of the Sox minor league affiliates travel to. Every year the Knights will have one 3 game series at Indy, but usually the games happen in July when the weather is very Hot and Humid at Indiana's capital city. For 2017, the series was scheduled in the month of May for a change, when the weather should be very pleasant. Great opportunity for Chicago area fans to watch future Sox stars in action like Yoan Moncada, Lucas Giolito, Carson Fulmer, Nicky Delmonico, Danny Hayes, etc.

Games start early on Tuesday and Wednesday because student groups from central Indiana will be attending for a 'Baseball In Education' promotion.

Yep, already bought my tickets for May 8th and 9th. Seats are behind home plate. I plan to grab some video for the FutureSox guys if they want stuff.

Gonna be there on the Wednesday.

I wanted to hit one of these games, but mid week is tough, concert one night and some other previous plans has me missing out.

Looks like I'll be seeing Giolito on Monday night, and Danish on Tuesday afternoon. I'll get some video of both, although I'm sure Gio footage would be more important.
