One Final Cub-Sox Note

Featured Replies

Just to add to the frustration of this season:

The sCrubs wound up only TWO GAMES better than the Sox this year.

The Sox go home, the sCrubs go to Atlanta.

That's what happens when (1) your division is a LITTLE worse than the AL Central and (2) you actually take care of business against a divisional rival. That early September 4-of-5 from St. Louis made the difference for them, I think.

That said.........I can now let this season go.

March 4th can't come fast enough.

take a bit more time to let it go, knowing how this team had a real chance to do some damage in the post-season with this rotation.

the division was lost in the last five games with Minny, but it was also lost with that dreadful and unacceptable offense of the first 10 weeks.

There is no doubt that without the joke of the Tigers that the AL central was better than the NL Central. And even with Detroit it was close.

Look at the title of this thread! .... Should be Sox-Cub note. How dare you?!?!?!
