White Sox Prospects of the Month, June 2017

Featured Replies

Excellent picks.

Thanks for doing this.

the only alarming news is that most of the guys performing best, at least as every day players, are a long way from The Show.

I don't consider Liriano a prospect and Alvarez is also a lottery ticket at his age.

Not good.

Thanks Eeyore. Seems great that a guy with 8 HR in a month and pitchers with ERAs in the 1 range are honorable mentions.

Here is the FutureSox version of the White Sox Prospects of the Month. Also in there are some names who just missed.

The pitcher who won is a familiar name to most. The hitter, probably not so much, but you should start getting to know him now.

Who would you have picked, if anyone different?

Excellent list. It's great to see when prospects emerge . I hope they all can keep it up . Mendick is opening eyes as a guy with speed and defense and now hitting. All those qualities combined is hard to find especially in the minors where defense and hitting are often in the "developmental" stages .

The pitching is tremendous. Couldn't have asked for more from the guys under Giolito and Lopez.
