Where does he fit in the rebuild? Long man out of the pen? Starter once we jettison a few guys? Is this year a mirage? He's been a pleasant surprise despite underwhelming peripherals.

I'm guessing he's a short timer.

 

They already gave up on him once.

Probably a guy they flip for prospects if he performs well enough.

Probably good enough to hang around for a while, not good enough to trade, so he'll just be fighting for a roster spot as a middle reliever by the time we're good again.
