badabob03
Time to celebrate...now wait till next year has new meaning....This is truly a blessing....a manager to be named later could have won this lame ass division...Drawing the lineup out of a hat and picking a new manager from the stands every game would have won this division..only JM could have screwed this season up and he did everything he could to sabotage it...Now if KW will get his head out of his ass and resign everyone worth keeping especially..Mags/Roberto/Carlos/Frank/bartolo there are a couple that are on the bubble...Jose and Paulie...could be gone but i'd be happy to see this team stay together for at least one more year.... greg775
I thought we'd all pretty much agreed he wasn't the worst manager in Sox history and we liked him as a person. Why blast him so much? Our players at times underachieved on their own I'm sure. Though I do agree we need a new skipper. But if it's Buddy Bell, we've gained nothing. Rex Hudler
I thought we'd all pretty much agreed he wasn't the worst manager in Sox history and we liked him as a person. Why blast him so much? Lack of class, perhaps?? LOL

Last time I checked, the players hit, run, field and throw. Sure Jm isnt the manager we need, but hes gone and hes a good man. There is no reason to dwell on the past. supernuke
The problems with this team ran a whole lot deeper then JM. I'm glad a change is being made but other changes still need to be made. Don't expect JM"s firing to be a miracle cure all for this teams problems. YASNY
Let's just hope this turns into a step forward and not a step back. Picling the wrong man could be disasterous.
DBAHO
Just look at how much Ron Gardenhire means to the Twins. Without him, they're an average team, a good manager can be the difference b/w making da playoffs and missing out. Let's just hope we get a good 1.
