October 7, 200322 yr not all the time...the astros are in the first base dugout when they are at home...i guess it just depend on what the team prefers, but generally the home team is in the third base dugout...
October 7, 200322 yr This is optional, correct? Home team's choice? My guess is it's pretty much a matter of logistics. Whichever side of the property had more room to build the bigger locker room gets the home team. Or maybe more convenient to the players' parking lots, that sort of thing.
