Not every team needs a DH.

Yeah but for example Astros have tucker and white in their DH depth chart. Cruz could have helped them.

But the Astros also have made it clear they will decide what a player is worth to them based on their analytics and they will not go beyond that dollar amount/talent amount.

The Astros have plenty of guys that can use those at bats. The Astros have so much depth and versatility to the point where they can give a guy a break at the DH spot. I'm sure the injury-proned Brantley will see some time there.
