Longenhagen kinda predicted that saying he is an advanced college hitter who had that terrible start last year due to injury and thus gave him a 40+ rating. Good choice to let him repeat A ball imo but I think they should soon call him up to AA since he is already turning 23 this summer and seems to handle A ball now which of course is not a huge challenge for a good, polished college bat. I think 2-3 more good weeks at A ball and he should be up in AA.

But, yeah, he's very much on the Luis Gonzalez track - who himself could have been pushed a bit more aggressively. Another example of a reason not to get too upset about the post draft performance of players. Sucks because it gives you a "what if" with Burger too.
April 30, 20196 yr Walker was graded as one of the most polished college bats in the 2018 draft. He is just wasting time in Kannapolis. Get him up to Winston Salem pronto.
