I do have to say though that I would rather listen to Lyons voice on TV then Tim McCarver's. McCarver always sounds like he is whinning.

October 11, 200322 yr There was one subject last night....can't remember what exactly....but Lyons was (again) talking out of his ass, and Leiter just owned him up. Usually when Lyons starts talking out of his ass, Brennamen and Leiter just ignore him, but Leiter just kinda shoved whatever it was they were talking about right back up Lyons ass. I loved it. And then last night Lyons was talking about how you shouldn't go inside to Alou. And the next pitch, Redman threw a strike over the outside corner. Lyons just basically said "see I told you so" and just started trying to back his point more. Next pitch....strike over the inside corner. Next pitch....Alou pops a pitch that went over the inside part of the plate up to Gonzalez at SS. Lyons is a total assclown. It's too bad he played for the Sox.
