I don’t like this experimental rule.  It’s 3 strikes and you’re out and you can only run to 1B on a dropped third strike.

Here’s a follow up question.  Is play considered dead during a mound visit or can baserunners steal bases during them?

This might be the dumbest rule in a long time.  Lets award a batter for just showing up.

I believe since time has to be called when a manager / coach / player visits the mound that the play is dead.
