Possible New Season Ticket Plans

Featured Replies

Our season ticket rep mentioned the White Sox are considering changing their season ticket partial plans around. They're considering a 39 (approx.) game plan which would include all Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Possibly, they're going to drop one of the other partial plans.

Right now, there's a hold up on announcing plans and the schedule because MLB still hasn't figured out the Expos situation, and the Sox are scheduled to play the NL East in interleague play. Since the Expos came to Chicago the last time, the Sox would likely play in Montreal ... or San Juan ... or Mexico ... or whereever the Expos land in '04.

I was told they are targeting early November to announce the season ticket plans and the 2004 schedule.

She also said it's possible, although not confirmed, that 300 Club Level seats will be available for partial season ticket plans, i.e. the 39 game plan.

Who told you this, Tiffany?

No, I don't know Tiffany. PM me if you want, I don't want to get the rep in any hot water.

Where do you think the expos will end up in '04?

I'd bet Montreal, MLB has got nothing lined up with potential ownership groups in Portand or D.C. The players association shot down the idea of playing all those "home" games in San Juan, so I'd surmise they'll be playing in one place for 2004 ... Montreal.

The stadium up there is awful but man, is it a fun city. If the Sox play there I'm definitely road trippin'. The food, the bars, the culture, and the "scenery" in Montreal are top notch.

I'd kill to see the Expos in a city without baseball.
