September 21, 20196 yr When the Cubs got Nick Castellanos from the Tigers, it was for two minor league pitchers and "Cash considerations". In the last two years, it seem the Cubs have traded for a lot of guys and given up "cash considerations". Are the Cubs giving cash? Are they getting cash? What does that mean? Is this just another way the Cubs are buying players? And if so, is it considered as part of their (already ridiculously high) payroll?
