Girardi fired as Phillies manager

Featured Replies

Joe Girardi has been fired by the Phillies as manager.  Watching the Dombrowski press conference now. He said they need a different voice and a different energy in the clubhouse, in order to salvage the season.. the Phillies have been underperforming, defense has not been good, questioned lineups, lackasaidal.  This sounds very similar to the White Sox, these guys are pulling the trigger, but does JR has the testicular fortitude to do the same?  The Phillies are 22-29.
