October 24, 200322 yr I just HATE his "style" of analysis. EVERY penalty against the Hawks is a bad call, and he won't shut the f*** up about it for 5 minutes. If the refs make the EXACT same call against the opposition, "we may have gotten a break there". Figure it out, Dale... He makes Ron Santo sound fair and unbiased. They let Bill Gardner go to bring THIS IDIOT back???? Just another stupid move by the organ I zation.

You gotta work on your tallon impersonation critic... if it's half as good as stoney's. than it's money to me
October 26, 200322 yr Author You gotta work on your tallon impersonation critic... if it's half as good as stoney's. than it's money to me Thanks, Murc! I actually have tried to do a Tallon impression, but his voice is kinda tough to get. It's not deep, but it's not high, and there's no real defining thing to it. Stone is real nasal, so that was easy to catch for me. I have a feeling a Tallon impression would consist of crying for 10 minutes about a tripping call against the Hawks, and then saying "ooooh, we might have caught a break" when the other team got called for tripping. It just pisses me off that they let Gardner go when he's LIGHT YEARS better than Tallon. Oh, and Tallon should try to talk about golf more!! s***, it happens every game - "...and Dempsey golfs one out of the zone - HEY, SPEAKING OF GOLF, I PLAYED..." ...ugh...

You have any of your impressions on your computer? If so could you e-mail them to me?
October 27, 200322 yr Author You have any of your impressions on your computer? If so could you e-mail them to me? Nuke, I don't have any on the PC right now, but I'll try to get some set up and I'll let you know. Otherwise, listen to the season-ending SnR show - I think Maury's gonna play some of them, and I *may* show up for the show, if we can come up with a good broadcast time.
October 28, 200322 yr Tallon is sometimes biased but you can get around that. Many times he's also right and the Hawks will get hosed on a call...like that slashing call against the Hawks sunday night, that was a joke.
October 28, 200322 yr I like Tallon. Yeah, he does gripe about what he considers bad penalties, but I like that he and Foley can also call a spade a spade and say that they are playing like s***. I never had much use for Gardner. Never seemed like he and Foley were comfortable together and his voice kinda was like nails on a blackboard for me. Speaking of nails on a blackboard, when will Jesse Rodgers be taken off pre and postgame?

Those 2 were biased like no other and I loved every minute of it.
