Well, odds are at least 50/50 and probably much higher that he suddenly pitches better on a legit contending team with a renowned coaching and training staff that has been able to overcome key pitching injury after injury. See Glasnow Springs Honeywell Liberatore McKay etc. 

White Sox with that many starters gone they would be relegated to AAA.
