Just about how much is he demanding this offseason. This guy is the type of player that comes along in free agency once in a lifetime. I consider him to be the BEST position player in all of baseball. For us to get this guy I think LEE and Konerko would both have to go, possibly even maggs. BUT could you imagine Vlad AND MAGGS in the OF? That would be crazy.

I read somewhere that some people in baseball feel he'll only get 10-12 mill.

Vlad has got to be in the $15 million range. He might be able to get a 7 year deal tops. It all depends on if he spurns the Yankees like he said he would or not. If his choices are Baltimore and San Diego, he won't be priced nearly as high.

Vlad made $11.5 mil this past year. My guess he will get at least $13 - $15 mil. The Expos will likely give him $13 mil to stay.
