November 21, 200322 yr I saw the first half (until they were going to the roof to the helicopter) and I missed the actual crash. I did record it, but won't have the chance to watch that until tomorrow at the earliest. One of my co-workers said that they killed off Paul McCrane's character by having him in the lot when the helicopter crashed. Also, what caused the helicopter crash?
November 21, 200322 yr yes he was killed the body will be found next week if they try and claim he survived - the copter fell right on time of him - I will quit the show - they were just lifting the helipcopter at the end of the show and I didn't see the body under it but they did the scene fast so I suppose we watch next week

The last shot they showed of him was him freaking out as the chopper was coming down and he was already freaked out from being up on the roof near it. He may have flipped out and he's cowering somewhere or drinking heavily -- with his good arm of course. The ads touted "someone you know will lose their life" or something like that. There's still that no-name nurse with a piece of the blade in her back, and they could cop out and make her the stiff.
November 21, 200322 yr It is too bad Romano is dead. He was my favorite character too, but I did call it. As soon as Romano said he was getting Pratt fired, I knew he was going to be the one to die.

As soon as Romano said he was getting Pratt fired, I knew he was going to be the one to die. I can't stand Pratt. I would they would get rid of him. I like the other guy, Michael (I think that's the character's name). Maybe it's because he is more personable.

I like Pratt for the same reason that I liked Romano. They are very believable doctors. Most of the others are just too nice, and Galant is one of them. You rarely meet a doctor that doesn't either have a God-complex, is a complete asshole, or doesn't know their ass from a hole in the ground.

That's true and that's why I adored Romano's character - he was a total asshole, but damn if I didn't laugh everytime he ripped someone another one. I loved the way he didn't let Cary Weaver get away with anything. The conversations/yelling matches between those two were priceless. Pratt is just too much of a self-righteous know it all for me. I guess that means the actor is doing a good job since that is very close to a number of doctors I have encountered in my time.

Maybe it's because he is more personable. i like Prattm he is following in the footsteps of Benton and Doug as "the rebel" doctor. You need to have a bunch of different character types. Galant's character kind of reminds me of Carter in the first 2 years of the show
November 21, 200322 yr Okay, give me some important events I have missed since last year, at about the time of which the episode was about the man and the gay govenor who gave his co-worker syphillis...
