Kind of goes along with the first article...finding guys through Rule 5 and now Adrian Houser on the cheap AND Getz still looking for more guys like that with Bryse Wilson struggling, Cannon out and Martin Perez out now until AUG (no trade possibility any longer).

Dominic Smith would have been a better choice than Palacios as well.

Surely a better DFA/acquisition possibility than Capra, Palacios or Rojas...

Michael Stefanic is an American professional baseball infielder for the Toronto Blue Jays. He signed a minor league contract with the Blue Jays in November 2024. He is currently playing in the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons. Stefanic is a versatile infielder who has played second base, third base, and shortstop (because the White Sox don't have enough of those at all, almost makes one think sticking with Gage Workman would have been the wisest overall move).

Stefanic has a strong track record in the minor leagues, particularly in Triple-A. He's known for his high on-base percentage and ability to draw walks.
