What's with all of the guests?

Featured Replies

There are 32 guests viewing the site right now and only 11 members? Did we get some kind of publicity or something? Usually this site only gets those kinds of numbers when something big happens or the site gets plugged by someone. Anyone know anything?

I'm guessing its a lot of regular members who just haven't logged in yet. Since when I re-opened the site everyone had to relogin.

Also, probably a lot of search engine spiders (Although I don't have those set to show up as guests or members) are around the site since the site is active again.

Pardon my ignorance but what is a search engine spider???

Don't know exactly what they are, but search engines send them to the site and they pull data and stuff and it somehow deals with where the site is ranked and they cache the image on the search engine so people can look at it and such.

I THINK.
