reiks12
James Fegan interviewed Fuller where he talked about numerous prospects, Montgomery, and their draft philosophy. It is well worth the listen and hopefully instill some faith in the development side of things hitting wise.

nrockway
Bumping this thread just to share this video. Not to discredit this impressive feat, but the Orioles batters did a lot of the heavy lifting. One strike called out of the zone and the rest were swinging strikes, 7 of 8 not even close to the zone. Some really bad "swing decisions". Are they missing Fuller? Orioles were 4th in MLB last season at 113 WRC+ and 17th this season at 99. Our Sox were dead last at 75 WRC+ and 26th this season at 90 (still bad). Orioles regressed by 14 points, Sox improved by 15. Not saying a hitting coach is making the complete difference, but you have to think he factors into it somewhere for both teams. Plenty of reasons the Orioles have regressed and the Sox have improved, but I wonder if Baltimore regrets scapegoating him.
