Oppor on the mound. 6 up, 6 down, 3 Ks so far.
Dash up 1-0 after a Lodise homer. Who needs a metal bat?

Oppor totally lost his command in the 3rd inning. 2 walks, couple of singles. Got out of a bases loaded jam only giving up one run.

Sammy(oops) Jeral Perez just crushed one! Absolutely no doubt.

Bonemer just missed a massive dong. Ends up lining out to the warning track, nearly gone and seemingly hit very hard.

LOL. Really wacky at bat for Oppor's 4th K and likely his last batter. The batter fouled off 11 pitches and worked a 3-2 count...and it ends on a pitch clock violation. Backwards K? His last start of the season unless he goes up to AA where he might have a chance to start the last regular season game. I don't know if that's likely. 

Finishes at 5.0 IP 2 hits, 2 runs (1 earned), 3 BBs, 4 Ks. His stuff looked really good and battled through command issues in the 3rd and 4th. Fastball got up to 99 mph, slider looked really nasty. Think we got somethin' there.

Switched over to the Birmingham game where Gowens was at 8 Ks, 0 walks, 0 runs after 5. Immediately Edwin Arroyo hits a triple. 

 19th round pick from 2023...what's the rush?   
I take it that Connor is not high on the list and they just moved him to AAA because they needed more room at A+/AA?

He's 25 and I think AAA needed bodies
