Any updates on just how banged up Tristian Peters is? Hopes for him to be back by Tuesday unrealistic??

During today’s 4th inning broadcast, the update is:

• Bruising still along the chest up into the shoulder.

• Next step is for him to begin running, likely Tuesday after the off day.

• Then he will begin throwing.

Sounds like he’ll be out until we’re back home for the final three games against Colorado.

Should be okay without him for now. Doyle is playing alright.

Awesome sign seeing Peters put in today to check off running, fielding, and throwing from his list of recovery items.

Maybe he’s going to be set to come back sooner and we’ll see him starting a game or two in KC.

Dude is a baller and this sequence of events has him moved up a notch on my favorite current players list.
