I'm a season of very unlikely White Sox turnarounds having him reinvent himself as a closer would be the most unlikely Sox thing to have happen. Exactly why it will. He just had to go throw about 15 good pitches.

12 hours ago12 hr I really like the Eckersley comparison. Castillo has very good postseason stats, seems fair to say he has another gear, maybe he re-discovers his stuff out of the bullpen and the trade isn't a total bust. All things considered, I'd probably still have more confidence in Castillo to pitch well in the postseason than Mason Adams or McDougal.
