5 hours ago5 hr I think the final paragraph of the article sums up the season perfectly, for this squad to makes the ALDS was a massive achievement, but to then lose it after going 2 games up in a 5 game series and to strike out like they did in the last 3 games exposed the shortcoming in the offense, and the pitching was on the brink all season and just finally fell apart in the final 3 games, particularly the 2 games at home.Overall, there are many positives from this season but unless the obvious flaws in the squad are adressed then hoping for a repeat next season (if it happens) may lead to disappointment.
