December 9, 200322 yr trade maggs for mark mulder straight up...oakland has a ton of pitchers and they could use more hitting...and then the sox could sign Mulder long term ( he is from around here, south Holland???) just an idea, wut do u think?
December 9, 200322 yr First of all, PUT DOWN YOUR CRACK PIPE. then realize Oaklands GM is Billy Beane, HE'S NOT STUPID. He doesn't even have as much money as us, So what makes you think he is willing to add $10 MIL to get the 3rd worst GIDP man in Baseball.
December 9, 200322 yr And Mulder is signed for two more years, I believe. Why would he want Maggs for one season? At $14 million. When he has Kotsay, Kielty, Byrnes and Dye? can't see it.

December 9, 200322 yr He's probably a Cubs' fan -- like LaTroy. Plus, his favorite color is probably green -- preferrably in large stacks.
December 9, 200322 yr You'd have a shot at getting Mulder, maybe, if you took on Dye's salary and gave them someone else that could be useful.
December 9, 200322 yr Mulder grew up in South Holland and I saw him on camera saying he was a lifelong White Sox fan.
December 9, 200322 yr He's probably a Cubs' fan -- like LaTroy. Plus, his favorite color is probably green -- preferrably in large stacks. I don't believe so. I actually do recall reading or hearing from somewhere or something that Mulder's favorite team growing up was actually the White Sox. You ever wonder why he pitches lights out against us?
December 10, 200322 yr I don't believe so. I actually do recall reading or hearing from somewhere or something that Mulder's favorite team growing up was actually the White Sox. You ever wonder why he pitches lights out against us? Heard or read the same thing that Mulder's favorite team while growing up is the White Sox. Hopefully when he becomes a free agent, we can grab him and never let him go.
