January 16, 200323 yr in the final sentence of the trade, it was said by the mont gm that he still have to reduce the payroll even more. so does mean that vasquez has to be traded as well?
January 16, 200323 yr He'll probably try to get rid of Tatis, Cabrera, Armas Jr and even Vidro ahead of Vazquez. I'd look for Cabrera and Tatis to be gone...they'll probably take next to nothing for those two.
January 16, 200323 yr Tatis makes the most out of that group. Nobody wants him though, so the Expos are gonna be stuck with him.

January 16, 200323 yr maybe montreal has another deal that is going to happen and they needed him to fit in with the equation.

We send cash to Montreal and the Yankees send cash to Montreal...I'm assuming the cash eats up about 75%-90% of El Duque's salary....that's the way it was explained by Jayson Stark(who is the only baseball analyist that is a sportswriter that knows a damn thing about anything regarding baseball...if he says something, I'll listen a little closer)
