Freddy Garcia - S - Seattle Mariners Dec 13

A source told the Seattle Times yesterday that the White Sox are "desperate" to land Freddy Garcia.

It shouldn't take much to acquire Garcia, since he could be non-tendered if he isn't traded. Reports indicate that the Padres aren't at all interested in a Garcia-for-Phil Nevin swap, but Garcia could have suitors in Baltimore and St. Louis. Also, the Astros would happily take him in exchange for Richard Hidalgo. Source: Seattle Times

people have said we were interested but that is the first source ive seen

Yeah, I guess rotoworld.com gets everything directly from the papers.

They do, just check where it says source on the bottom in RotoWorld

Hes got a poor attitude (from what Ive heard atleast), his ERA was 4.52 last year and he is constantly getting hurt. Injuries and attitude aside, hes basically Jon Garland but going down instead of up. I dont see why were interested in him at all...
