According to Rotoworld, it is for a player to be named later.

Rotoworld

He will end up playing CF or LF with Green in right.

Looking at his numbers he wasn't that bad....270, 19 HR, 94 RBI. If on the Sox he could of been a 2 hitter.

Thats a very good move by the Dodgers. I am a big Juan Encarnacion fan. This morning I was telling my dad that the Dodgers should pick him up.

Juan was gonna get non-tendered so the Dodgers just assured themselves of getting him and I'm guessing they didn't give up anything much.

Jason, are you saying that this was a good move by Danny Evans?

As long as they aren't giving up a good prospect, yes. Although If Evans expects Encarnacion to be the sole answer then he's wrong, but he's a solid 5-6 hitter.

geez, now more than ever I hope we swap konerko for perez or nomo. LA is my second favorite team. I'd love to see them put something together.

I'm guessing the prospect will depend on weather or not LA signs him. I think if they can't get a deal done LA will still non tender him and only give up a low rated minor leaguer.
