DBAHO
From the Chicago White Sox Web Site. Williams Article Los Angeles is in need of offense and could have right-handed reliever Guillermo Mota pried loose in a possible deal. Mota, 30, posted a paltry 1.97 ERA in 105 innings covering 76 games last season, striking out 99 and allowing 78 hits. But the problem with the trade could lie in the White Sox wanting top pitching prospects such as Edwin Jackson and Greg Miller, when outfielder Franklin Gutierrez or pitcher Joel Hanrahan more likely would be available. Interest was piqued Sunday when Art Howe, Koch's manager during his one year in Oakland and the current Mets manager, defended him.
Flash Tizzle
Mota!!!!! Pull that trigger KW........PULL IT. If he's in the picture then Sox could be putting Thomas on the table. Or maybe Konerko and Valentine. I dont get how Art Howe falls into the picture, what was he defending? You may of cut some of the article out.
