For the same reasons that we would love to keep Ordonez, is exactly why Evans would like to acquire him. I love the fact that KW is not letting the prospect of Magglio walking after 2004 affect his bargaining position. Hang in there and get Perez, Mota and Jackson... at least. Add Valentin to get get Itsuris if you can.

According to LA Radio, if McCourt (New Owner) sale goes through he will set the payroll at 85 mill, which is basically what its at. 

 

I don't personally think his deal is going to go through cause the guy has absolutely no money. He owns one piece of property and thats it.

Fair enough...I don't believe that Evans is a bad GM...but I wouldn't consider him amonst the best in the business.

That's fair..... I don't think he has had enough time for either to be determined.

Magglio for Odalis Perez, Edwin Jackson, Guilermo Mota and either James Loney, Greg Miller or Franklin Guitierez (all top four prospects)
